Sunday Morning State ARES NET

By tomas

IRLP Comes to the state wide Sunday morning ARES net.

We have had problems accessing the state ares net on Sundays due to Colorado Connection repeater issues in Colorado Springs for some time.
David Markham, SEC, has implemented a change in the net so state wide ARES groups can start using IRLP to access the net.

I Colorado Springs we have permission from CMRG to use the 147.345 repeater to access the net on Sunday mornings. Connect to node
9871 to access the net.

When participating in the net we have been asked to pause between transmissions.
A 5 seconds in between transmissions will allow the repeaters and Internet relays top function well.

Participation in this net is not mandatory, however, it is a great place to learn about state wide ARES activities.
