Pikes Peak ARES Shirts

Pikes Peak ARES has an optional uniform shirt which we recommend be worn at all PPARES functions, especially events where we interface with served agency personnel.

The shirts we use are Forest Green "Cabela's Safari Shirts" and are available in both long and short sleeve, and a wide variety of sizes. Be sure to specify "Forest Green" and your appropriate size (tall sizes and women's styles also are available). The shirts vary in price from $23.95 to $29.95 (plus shipping and handling) depending upon size and style. The shirts can be ordered directly from the Cabela's website at:

Embroidery

It is recommended, if your shirt is new, that it be washed before being embroidered. Be sure to firmly attach a tag to the shirt indicating your callsign (slash the zero), first and last name, return address and a phone and/or e-mail address.

The format features your callsign and full name (first & last) embroidered in gold thread over the right chest pocket (as you are wearing the shirt) and a 2 3/8" diameter gold on black ARES logo embroidered above the left chest pocket. Total cost for embroidery is $14. Request the standard Pikes Peak ARES format.
