Skywarn

PARES participates in the national Skywarn program by providing ground truth (observed weather phenomena) to the National Weather Service forecast office in Pueblo, Colorado. These trained observers report actual conditions of tornado activity and aftermath, observing and reporting streams during flooding or potential flooding, up to the minute weather reports and other numerous weather related activities.
